4. Work, Duties and Powers of the Committee

The work, duties and powers of the Committee shall be as follows:-

(a) Protection of natural, social, cultural and environmental aspects and biological diversity for the tourism development of Simraun region. and determine the necessary policy to promote,
(b) To identify potential tourist spots in Simraun area and prepare and implement various plans and programs for tourism development,
(c) Collecting the details of the cultural and natural heritage of Simraun region (d) Conducting necessary studies and researches regarding the development of tourism in Simraun region (e) To identify Simraun region as an attractive and reliable tourist destination at home and abroad by sustainable development and expansion of tourism business in Simraun region,
(f) Diversifying and developing tourism activities such as health, wildlife, agriculture, sports, recreational and cultural tourism in Simraun region,
(g) conducting or conducting various programs to increase the interest of tourists in the art and culture of Simraun region,
(h) Giving preference to youth, women, tribals, tribals, dalits and backward classes to participate in tourism-related employment training and skill development programs,
(i) Reducing rural poverty through community-based tourism development (j) To make tourist services accessible and quality by using modern information technology and equipment (k) To construct or operate residential houses, chamena houses, etc. that introduce the art, culture and lifestyle of the Simraun area,
(l) To adopt necessary measures to minimize the impact on the cultural, environmental beauty and biological diversity of the Simraun region while conducting tourism-related activities,
(d) To prepare and implement the necessary plan to prevent pollution in lakes, ponds, rivers, streams etc. within the Simraun area,
(d) Encouraging the visit of citizens from other regions of the country to Simraun regionInstead of developing domestic tourism,
(n) Identify potential hiking areas in Simraun area and prepare hiking infrastructure for domestic and foreign tourists,
(p) To coordinate or arrange for the necessary coordination between government and non-government organizations for the development of tourism in Simraun region,
(th) To do or cause other work to fulfill the purpose of the committee.
